Wow, I almost forgot the password to my account, it’s been so long. I’m glad I feel like posting today.
A friend of mine mentioned on his website that Washington just got a homosexual domestic partnership law signed in (which is a good thing), but what’s really funny is that this can still lead to a situation like this.
Man divorces his wife. Has to pay alimony. Wife gets “married” (no same-sex marriage, so it’s a domestic partnership) to another woman. Upon remarriage alimony stops, but not in this case, since it’s not technically marriage! Guy has to keep paying alimony.
I know it sucks for the guy, but it’s still really funny. Just watch, it’ll totally happen to me
