Picked the first of my early corn. It was wonderful.. This is growing in my Vancouver HP garden, so keeping it watered has been a challenge. But the taste of fresh corn is unbelievable and worth it!

Mmmmm, sweet corn. We’ve been eating a lot of that lately, though I’m sure it’s not even half as good as your homegrown corn.
Oh, and just today I got in an “argument” with Minerva about how to eat corn. She claims that it should be eaten with crazy Mexican “fresh cheese” (it’s white and cheese curd-like, and mild), hot sauce, cream, and peppers. I, on the other hand, told her that the proper way to eat corn is with butter, salt, and pepper. She told me I’m crazy. Turns out she was talking about the “dry” Mexican corn that is not as sweet, while I was talking about sweet corn. But still I think she’s crazy. And I’m sure she thinks I’m still crazy.
