Plaster Shapeshifting with Dieter

March 2nd, 2008 at 7:55 PM by

I completed my latest art project today. We were assigned to make two objects that would morph into eachother using a block of plaster about the size of a shoe box. I wanted to make my work using an object from nature and something more industrial or man made and put them both together. So I decided to make a pine cone turning into a grenade.

This is awesome. Morphing the natural pinecone to the destructive grenade is a great juxtaposition. Nice work. One more piece for the portfolio.

Dude, coat it in silver and mount that on a pedastal, I’d buy that for a straight million if I had the cash.

  4. Dieter Says:

    I totally agree!
