Adam just completed his book Life is Queer, a collection of twelve short writings. This book was created for the queer literature class he is taking this quarter. The cover was a collaborative project between Adam and I. He came up with the basic design and I recreated the design on illustrator. We also came up with the fancy logo for the back cover. I was blown away with the stories he came up with so I can’t wait to share them everyone.

I just completed this ad today! The previous ad had a bunch of pictures of the employees, which was good but had already been done, and the pictures included many of the previous student employees and hadn’t been updated in a long time. For this ad I wanted to put an emphasis on the student run aspect of the store, and the fact that we’re a non-profit organization so all of our revenues go back into the student body. So I took a picture of Mary a good friend of mine and fellow student worker at the bookstore. Along with the slogan “students working for students” Leigh Ann and I came up with 10 of the top reason why students should shop at our store. We went around the store asking people for their opinions of what they thought were the best reasons.Â

My work is going to be featured in a show on campus called Facescapes! The poster was designed by myself and fellow classmate Adam McRae. To view my self portraits for this show visit  www.dankedieter.com.

The Juniors in the ID program at WWU just finished their products for ReMade, the annual project that asks students to create products from otherwise useless waste. Last friday the students exhibited their work in downtown Bellingham at IDEAL where the products will also be for sale. If you’re interested in buying one of the products or just want to get a closer look, you can go to www.widg.blogspot.com. The products will also be available for purchase this thursday at the Western AS Bookstore.

‘Twas good stuff. Man, Mindy or I should have posted these a long times ago. As you can see, we went over to the northern Oregon coast to check out this sweet wreck. Mason went with us too, and boy, was he were his clothes stinky.
Yeah, so I’ve told Mindy a bunch of times, that if she ever tricks me into marrying her, it will probably involve using the wreck like a church and having a pirate and ninja party around it. Doesn’t it look like it would be fun?
