Ok, all you amateur mycologists, here’s a photo of an unusual mushroom - the Barometer Earthstar. Supposedly, the rays actually fold back over the center in dry weather.

ReMade

The Juniors in the ID program at WWU just finished their products for ReMade, the annual project that asks students to create products from otherwise useless waste. Last friday the students exhibited their work in downtown Bellingham at IDEAL where the products will also be for sale. If you’re interested in buying one of the products or just want to get a closer look, you can go to www.widg.blogspot.com. The products will also be available for purchase this thursday at the Western AS Bookstore.
